Come celebrate the grand opening of Ewajo Dance Company! Experience the Bronx in the very heart of London. Take part in 2 hours of classes and 2 hours of choreography training. Share snacks and drinks with the Ewajo community.

For those wishing to join the Ewajo teams, all 4 hours will be used as a means to assess which team is most suitable for you. Ewajo Ola (Development Team) is suitable for those less experienced with performing. Ewajo Oni (Mastery Team) is suitable for seasoned dancers who already have a good history of performing.

What to expect?

1st and 2nd hour

Two Levels of footwork and partnerwork classes

Level 1 with our instructor Kasia where you will learn the fundamentals of Bronx Style Mambo Footwork and partnerwork. Suitable for intermediate On2 dancers or advanced On1 dancers seeking to transition to On2.

Level 2 with Dr John and Gabriella where you will challenge yourself in a fast paced footwork and partnerwork combo. Suitable for intermediate/advanced On2 dancers.

After the classes, we will have a celebration for the grand opening with complimentary drinks and snacks.

3rd and 4th hour

For those auditioning to join a team, you will learn a section of a choreography by Dr John to the track ‘Dilema’ by Johnny Ventura. Give the best version of yourself and show your full potential!

Prices

Classes only - £15 for the 2 hour classes. NB the £15 can be a deposit for the March Footwork and Partnerwork pass (£60 balance).

Classes and audition - £20 for the whole 4 hours. NB the £20 can be a deposit for the March Performance Team pass (£70 balance).
